The Zelenograd Museum invites you to a themed tour dedicated to the events of the Battle of Moscow in late November and early December 1941, when the territory of modern-day Zelenograd and its environs became the capital's line of defense.

The event will feature unique items from the museum's collection: original documents, photographs, and awards donated by veterans and their relatives, archaeologists, and residents of Zelenograd. Guests will also see a model of the village of Matushkino, created by Boris Larin, who lived through the occupation of his hometown as a child.

In addition, visitors will learn the history of the Shtyki memorial complex, located at the 40th kilometer of the Leningradskoye Highway, as well as the events associated with the reburial of the ashes of the Unknown Soldier in December 1966.
