BEIJING, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) — China has invited domestic and foreign journalists to cover the annual sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) to be held in March this year, according to an official statement released Tuesday.
Coverage of the two sessions will be carried out through various means, but will mainly consist of on-site reporting, according to a statement jointly released by the Office of the Standing Committee of the NPC and the Office of the CPPCC National Committee.
According to the statement, the Press Center for Two Sessions will begin its work on February 27.
The opening of the 4th session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 4th session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee are scheduled for March 5 and 4, respectively. -0-
