GENEVA, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) — World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Saturday that the reasons given by the United States for its decision to withdraw from the WHO are "not true."
T.A. Ghebreyesus expressed his opinion on the social network X. He warned that this step would make the United States and the world “less safe.”
On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order withdrawing the country from the WHO.
