Vladivostok, January 24 /Xinhua/ — Three people were killed in a head-on collision between two cars on Friday in the Shkotovsky district of Primorsky Krai, the Primorsky Krai Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on its Telegram channel.

According to preliminary information, the driver of a Mazda Demio, driving from the village of Shkotovo towards Vladivostok, drove into oncoming traffic, causing a head-on collision with a Toyota Yaris.

Three people died in the car accident: the driver of the Mazda Demio, and the driver and passenger of the Toyota Yaris.

The Toyota Yaris's passengers—a woman and a minor child who were in the rear passenger seat at the time of the collision—suffered injuries of varying severity. The victims were hospitalized.
