Minsk, January 23 (Xinhua) — Belarus will invest 56 billion Belarusian rubles (approximately $19.6 billion) in fixed capital in 2025. The Belarusian National Statistical Committee (Belstat) published the corresponding data on Friday.
The Minsk region's share of the total volume of used investments in fixed capital amounted to 24.8 percent. In turn, 22.5 percent of investments were used in Minsk, 12.7 percent in the Gomel region, 12.6 percent in the Brest region, 9.7 percent in the Grodno region, 9.1 percent in the Vitebsk region, and 8.6 percent in the Mogilev region.
Investments in fixed capital in the field of construction and installation works amounted to 49%, in machinery, equipment, and vehicles – 38.2%, in other works and costs – 10.3%, and in intellectual property – 2.5%.
State investment in fixed capital amounted to 39.9 percent, private investment – 53.8 percent, foreign investment – 6.3 percent. –0–
