Moscow, January 20 (Xinhua) — Russian Presidential Special Representative Kirill Dmitriev on Tuesday called his meeting with US Presidential Special Envoy Steven Witkoff in Davos, Switzerland, constructive, the Russian newspaper Izvestia reported.
Earlier on Tuesday, negotiations took place between K. Dmitriev, S. Witkoff, and the US president's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
"The meeting is proceeding constructively, and more and more people are realizing the correctness of Russia's position," K. Dmitriev told reporters.
As RIA Novosti reported on Tuesday, S. Witkoff, in response to journalists' questions, described the negotiations, which lasted more than two hours, as "very constructive." –0–
