Pyongyang, January 20 (Xinhua) — Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) dismissed Vice Prime Minister Yang Seung Ho on Monday at a ceremony to commission a modernized machinery complex, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, Kim Jong-un attended a ceremony to mark the completion of the first stage of modernization of the Renson Machine-Building Association.
He stated that “solely because of irresponsible, rude and incompetent officials responsible for economic management,” the modernization process encountered unnecessary artificial chaos, which led to difficulties and “considerable economic damage.”
Kim Jong-un called for people to stop relying on those who have become too accustomed to defeatism, irresponsibility, and passivity, KCNA reports. –0–
