Bloggers will be ranked based on their viewing metrics. Each level will unlock new opportunities and increase platform support.
The national video service RUTUBE is launching a new system that will allow authors to receive more privileges based on the size of their blog's audience. All content creators on RUTUBE will be assigned a level, reflecting the category of their blog: beginner, advanced, or professional. The levels will be named after video resolutions: 720p, 1080p, 2k, and 4k. Authors will be able to see their level and the opportunities it unlocks in the Studio.
Level "720" is the entry-level level. It is awarded to all creators registered on RUTUBE and with views, even those whose channels are unregistered. This level doesn't grant any special privileges, but it does provide unlimited access to the "Bloggers Academy" course. The next level, "1080," is awarded to creators who have surpassed 4,500 views, achieved a viewership rate of 25%, and accumulated between 50 and 600 hours of content views. Creators at this level are eligible for additional recommended impressions and other platform benefits.
To reach the "2K" level, a creator must accumulate a total of 600 hours of content viewing time and over 45,000 views with a viewing depth of at least 25%. These creators will be able to upload videos up to 50 GB in size, and their content will be promoted in RUTUBE recommendations. They will also receive access to "Team R," which offers additional privileges and a personal manager from the platform. Creators at the highest level—"4K"—will, in addition to all of the above privileges, gain access to posting their content in RUTUBE's thematic shelves and collections. To reach the "4K" level, a creator must accumulate a total of over 50,000 hours of viewing time and over 2 million views with a viewing depth of at least 25%.
The level will be updated every three months – in January, April, July, and October. If the platform records an increase in a blogger's performance at the time of the update, their level will be increased for the next three months; if performance declines, the level will be lowered accordingly. When the privilege system launches in January 2026, levels will be assigned based on data from the previous three months.
"We're always open to collaborating with creators, striving to train them and support them in their professional development. The new privilege system is a transparent development path that will further motivate creators to work on content, build audiences, and grow their channels. Many modern platforms operate on an "everyone for themselves" principle, leaving bloggers to figure out functionality, monetization, audience acquisition, and so on on their own. RUTUBE operates differently: we want to help talented people unlock their potential and find their audience."
