MADRID, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) — At least 21 people were killed and 25 seriously injured when two high-speed trains derailed near the southern Spanish city of Cordoba.

About a hundred passengers received minor injuries.

A train carrying 317 passengers is reported to have derailed and collided with another train travelling at high speed in the opposite direction.
