BEIJING, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) — The State Council Party Group held a meeting on Wednesday to examine the important speech delivered by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, at the fifth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the spirit of its decisions.
The party group meeting was chaired by its secretary, Li Qiang, who is also the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. High-ranking members of the State Council, including Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, participated in the event.
Those present praised the results achieved over the past year in improving the style of party work, building an incorruptible administrative apparatus, and combating corruption. They called for reliable guarantees to ensure a confident start to the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) in 2026.
