MANILA, January 14 (Xinhua) — The death toll from a landslide at a landfill in Cebu City, central Philippines, has risen to 20. Rescuers continued their search for 16 missing workers on Wednesday, local authorities said.

Cebu City officials said the number of people rescued remains unchanged at 18. All were injured after part of the landfill collapsed and destroyed the building on January 8.
