DHAKA, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) — Three people were killed and 10 others injured on Monday when a train and a pickup truck collided at a railway crossing in Faridpur district in central Bangladesh, about 101 km from the capital Dhaka.

Rakibul Hasan, a senior official in Boalmari sub-county, told Xinhua by telephone that all the dead and injured were jute mill workers. They were in a pickup truck at the time of the incident.
