BEIJING, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) — General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Xi Jinping on Monday called for pushing forward comprehensive stricter Party governance with higher standards and more concrete measures.
Xi Jinping, also China's president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the call at the 5th plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection in Beijing.
Xi Jinping called for more scientifically sound and effective measures to imprison power in a "cage" of order, and to continue the fight against corruption with a clearer understanding and determination, so as to provide a reliable guarantee for achieving the goals and tasks for the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030). -0-
