CARACAS, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) — Venezuelan Acting President Delcy Rodriguez held telephone talks with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Colombian President Gustavo Petro and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Friday.

In her Telegram channel, D. Rodriguez stated that the aforementioned leaders agreed on the importance of advancing the cooperation agenda in the face of what she called the "grave criminal, illegal, and illegitimate act of aggression committed against" Venezuela.

D. Rodriguez said she informed the three leaders about the US military attacks against the South American country, which resulted in the deaths of civilians and military personnel.

“We agreed on the need to advance a broad agenda of bilateral cooperation based on respect for international law, state sovereignty, and dialogue between peoples,” she said. –0–
