BEIJING, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) — Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania and Lesotho from Jan. 7 to 12, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said Wednesday.

Wang Yi, also a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, will attend the opening ceremony of the China-Africa Year of People's Exchanges at the headquarters of the African Union, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
