NEW YORK, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) — Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro pleaded not guilty to all U.S. charges during his first court appearance in New York on Monday.
"I am innocent," Maduro declared in court, adding that he was captured at his home in Caracas and that he remains the president of Venezuela. This was reported by media outlets present in the courtroom.
