UN, January 3 /Xinhua/ — The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Monday regarding the US operation against Venezuela, the Security Council presidency told Xinhua on Saturday.
"The presidency intends to hold an emergency meeting on Monday at 10:00 (15:00 GMT)," said Khadija Ahmed, spokesperson for Somalia's Permanent Mission to the UN. Somalia holds the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council in January.
