Beijing, January 2 (Xinhua) – China categorically rejects any attempts to limit its actions to curb separatist activity or interference in its internal affairs under the pretext of maintaining peace in the Taiwan Strait, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Zhang Xiaogang stated on Friday.
Zhang Xiaogang made the statement in response to a media request for comment on remarks by Taiwan's Prime Minister Lai Qingde, as well as comments from several countries, including the United States, Japan, Australia, and the Philippines, regarding the recent military exercises, codenamed "Just Mission 2025," conducted by the PLA's Eastern Area Combat Command. -0-
