NANJING, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) — The People's Liberation Army's Eastern Zone Combat Command (PLA ECCC) is holding exercises in the waters and airspace of the central Taiwan Strait on Monday, involving fighter jets, bombers and unmanned aerial vehicles in coordination with long-range fire strikes, the ECCC said.
The exercises, which focus on engaging mobile ground targets, are intended to test the troops' ability to deliver precision strikes against key targets, the VZBK reported. -0-
