Ottawa, December 27 (Xinhua) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stopped in Halifax, Canada, on Saturday to meet with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney before flying to Florida for talks with US President Donald Trump on the Ukrainian peace process.
During the meeting, Michael Carney and Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the latest developments in the ongoing negotiations to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The Canadian prime minister reaffirmed his country's "full support" for Ukraine, according to a statement on the prime minister's official website.
