From December 27 to January 11, the Luzhniki Olympic Complex will host the festival. Winter TownThe event was organized by the capital Department of Sports as part of the "Winter in Moscow" project.
The main attraction of the New Year's festival will be building a snow fort. Every day from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, guests will be able to contribute to the creation of this art piece. A slide and a three-meter throne of Father Frost will be located nearby, serving as an interactive photo zone for the holiday.
For those who enjoy something a little more out of the ordinary, Winter Town offers a challenge in snow golf hockey, where accuracy, timing, and strategy are crucial. The main objective is to get the puck from start to finish over the ice obstacles with the fewest possible shots. Each participant will be provided with a stick appropriate for their size, a puck, and a scorecard. These competitions will run daily from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
Young speed enthusiasts will enjoy a snowmobile sprint. The race track will be divided into two age categories: five to eight years old and nine to 14 years old, with varying levels of difficulty. Before the start, each participant will receive a set of equipment and undergo a mandatory safety briefing.
On weekends and holidays, from 12:00 to 18:00, Father Frost will visit visitors to fulfill wishes and fill everyone with a New Year's spirit.
Decorative Christmas trees will enhance the festival's festive atmosphere. A themed winter train will run between the main "Winter in Luzhniki" venues daily from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Participation in all events is free. The festival will be open daily except Monday: Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and weekends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
