International students from the St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering were among the best students from the CIS studying in the Northern Capital.
The traditional awards ceremony, organized by the St. Petersburg Committee for External Relations, took place at Smolny. Letters of gratitude and awards were presented to international students and activists by the committee's chairman, Yevgeny Grigoryev.
Among the recipients are representatives of SPbGASU who demonstrated high activity in educational and social activities in 2025: Edgar Barseghyan, Irina Peretokin, Andrey Kornyushin, and Mekhrubon Madaminov.
Mekhrubon Madaminov, head of the "Kuppiya" study club at the SPbGASU Council of Foreign Students, shared his impressions of the event: "Before the ceremony, participants were given a tour of Smolny, which allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the building's history and its role in the city's life. The event took place in a warm and positive atmosphere, leaving behind vivid impressions and a sense of pride in being part of the city's public life."
"The participation of SPbGASU students in such events confirms the university's significant contribution to the development of international cooperation," noted Shuainat Akhmadulaeva, Head of the SPbGASU International Affairs Department.
