Registration for the contemporary art exhibition "18-" is now open. Students in grades five through eleven, as well as students from Moscow colleges, are welcome to participate. The Moscow city's press service announced this. Department of Education and Science.
"The '18-' exhibition is part of the large-scale ARTeria project, which supports creative young people. From February to May, a series of educational lectures and master classes will be organized for all participants. They will be led by renowned artists and contemporary art experts," the department's press service noted.

You can apply for participation in one of four categories. The first is dedicated to family and national customs, the second to folk myths and legends, and the third to friendship and mutual understanding between peoples. Drawings can also explore the history and unique architecture of Moscow.
First exhibition
The "18-" exhibition will be held in the capital for the second time. Last season, it featured 50 paintings, selected by a jury from over 700 submissions. Exposition placed at one of the largest exhibition venues in the capital – inWinzavod Center for Contemporary Art (CCA).

I work in architecture, so the choice of theme was obvious—my favorite city, and the place I visit most often, is the beautiful Moscow metro. The exhibition was held in a stunning and atmospheric location—the Winzavod. The works looked stunning on the easels, and all the participants received gifts," shared Maria Semusheva, a student at School No. 1212.
The jury includes renowned illustrators and cultural figures, as well as experts from leading Moscow art galleries.
The ARTERIA project was organized by the capital Department of Education and Science In the fall of 2024, young residents of the capital meet renowned artists and participate in competitions and creative events. Last year, the "Bright City" urban design competition, the "Urban Palette" plein air, and the "Draw with Me" art challenge were held.
