"The air temperature in the capital region dropped sharply, leading to early adjustments to the heating system. The temperature of the main heating medium in the heating networks increased," noted Pyotr Biryukov.
The district heating system's operating modes are selected based on the outside temperature. Change orders are issued in advance based on a short-term weather forecast.
Regulation of heat supply is ensured by two main parameters: by decreasing or increasing the temperature of the coolant and by increasing or decreasing its volume.
Petr Biryukov emphasized that the adjustments are carried out automatically under the control of the Moscow United Energy Company's dispatch services, based on weather sensor readings and dispatching systems, including those located at heating stations.
