BEIJING, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping called on state-owned enterprises (SOEs) directly under the central government to better serve the work of the Party and the country and make greater contributions to Chinese-style modernization.
Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the announcement while giving instructions in connection with a meeting of heads of centrally-controlled state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to be held in Beijing on December 22-23. -0-
