BEIJING, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) — In the first 11 months of 2025, the volume of imports and exports through the Manzhouli Port (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, north China) on the China-Russia border increased by 26.3 percent year-on-year to 102.02 billion yuan (approximately 14.5 billion U.S. dollars). This figure reached a historical high since the border crossing began operating, according to the website of the Zhongguo Xinwenshe News Agency.

According to Manzhouli Customs, since the beginning of this year, the checkpoint has handled approximately 240,000 trucks, ensuring their smooth customs clearance.

The Manzhouli Port is the largest land crossing on the Chinese-Russian border. It handles over 65 percent of the total volume of goods transported by land in Chinese-Russian trade.

"This year, the foreign trade turnover through Manzhouli Port has exceeded 100 billion yuan, laying a solid foundation for expanding the opening up of border areas," said Yao Wenlong, a local customs official, adding that Manzhouli Customs is ready to inject new impetus into the high-quality development of Inner Mongolia. -0-
