BEIJING, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) — China has expressed strong dissatisfaction and resolute protest to the United States and made serious representations to the American side regarding its national defense bill for the 2026 fiscal year, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular ministry press conference on Friday.
According to the diplomat, this bill exaggerates the Chinese threat, interferes in China's internal affairs, and undermines the country's sovereignty, security, and development interests.
China urges the United States to refrain from implementing the negative provisions of the above-mentioned bill regarding China and eliminate any negative consequences, Guo Jiakun emphasized. -0-
