BEIJING, December 17 (Xinhua) — The Chinese mainland is ready to help Taiwanese enterprises seize development opportunities provided by China's 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development (2026-2030), Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said at a regular press conference on Wednesday.
She said the Chinese mainland will continue to improve policies and mechanisms to promote economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait to deepen comprehensive development.
Zhu Fenglian expressed hope that Taiwanese people, including the business community, will cooperate with the mainland to promote the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations and advance the achievement of national reunification.
