On December 8, the annual cargo turnover of Qingdao Port in Shandong Province in 2025 exceeded 700 million tons, 15 days ahead of last year's figure.
Since the beginning of the year, the Port of Qingdao has reportedly been steadily expanding its network of international logistics routes. Currently, approximately 240 shipping lines connect the port with more than 700 ports in over 180 countries and regions, handling high-value-added cargo, including the "new three"—electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products—as well as high-tech equipment and precision measuring instruments. The port has become a "golden corridor" for trade between China and emerging markets. Photo by a Xinhua News Agency correspondent.
