BEIJING, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) — Chinese drug enforcement authorities, acting on information from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, seized 430 kilograms of smuggled cocaine, the Ministry of Public Security said Tuesday.

The drugs were seized on November 26 from a suspicious international container at Yantian Port in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, southern China. Further investigation is currently underway, the agency reported.
