BERLIN, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Berlin on Sunday for talks with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and other European leaders.
The German government announced earlier this week that Friedrich Merz would host Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday for German-Ukrainian economic talks and an exchange of views on the progress of peace negotiations on the Ukrainian issue. "Numerous European heads of state and government, as well as high-ranking representatives of the European Union and NATO, will join the discussions," the statement read.
The German newspaper Bild reported that V. Zelensky may also hold talks with representatives of US President Donald Trump. –0–
