PHNOM PENH, December 13 (Xinhua) — Cambodia has called on Thailand to immediately stop military actions against Cambodia and its civilian infrastructure, Information Minister Neth Pheaktra said on Saturday.

According to him, on Saturday morning, the Thai armed forces carried out airstrikes with two F-16 fighter jets on a hotel and two bridges in the border area of Thmor Da in Cambodia's Pursat province.

"Thai forces have expanded their attacks, targeting Cambodian civilians and villages and destroying civilian infrastructure," N. Pheaktra said, adding that as of Friday, 11 civilians had been killed and 59 wounded as a result of Thai actions.

The Minister stressed that Cambodia remains firmly committed to peace, dialogue and international law. –0–
