Washington, December 12 (Xinhua) — Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to a comprehensive ceasefire effective Friday evening, US President Donald Trump announced Friday.
“This morning I had a very good conversation with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul of Thailand and Prime Minister Khun Manet of Cambodia regarding the very unfortunate resumption of their long war,” Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social, adding that both countries are ready for peace and continued trade with the United States. –0–
