BEIJING, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) — The militaries of China and Singapore will hold joint military exercises called "Cooperation 2025" in Singapore from early to mid-December, the Chinese Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Wednesday.
As part of joint counter-terrorism operations in urban environments, participating forces will organize mutual training and skill exchange in areas such as demolitions, sniper shooting, and unmanned reconnaissance, as well as conduct command post exercises and combat training exercises.
This will be the seventh joint training event in the China-Singapore "Cooperation" series of military exercises. It aims to enhance operational capabilities in joint counter-terrorism operations and deepen practical exchanges and cooperation, the statement said. -0-
