More than 20 cats and dogs from the Zoorassvet and Zelenograd shelters (state-owned budgetary institution Dorinvest) will be waiting for new homes. Guests will be able to interact with animals, pet them, hold them, and decide which one to give a home to. Visitors who aren't ready to adopt a pet yet but want to help shelter cats and dogs will be taught how to become an animal volunteer.
All animals are rehomed free of charge under a responsible care agreement. This is a standard procedure that ensures the pet will be in safe hands. Potential adopters will be required to complete an interview, answer a few questions, and fill out paperwork. Afterward, the animal will be handed over to its new owner.
Printed catalogs featuring photographs of cats and dogs from Dorinvest shelters and QR codes leading to the organization's website and social media pages will also be available for exhibition visitors. Visitors can meet the animals in person during shelter opening hours. A passport is required.
