BEIJING, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) — China's courier sector posted robust growth in November, according to an industry index released by the State Post Administration (SPA) on Tuesday.
According to the State Prosecutor's Office, the express delivery development index in November was 478.1, which is 3 percent higher than for the same period last year.
The development scale sub-index increased by 6 percent year-on-year. The service quality sub-index increased by 1.9 percent year-on-year. The development potential sub-index increased by 0.3 percent year-on-year.
In November, the express delivery market expanded rapidly, with service quality and efficiency steadily improving, operational performance continually improving, and the use of technological equipment further expanding.
The industry index is based on data from the largest logistics companies providing delivery services. It reflects overall business activity and trends in the country's courier sector. -0-
