Kyiv, December 8 (Xinhua) — On Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be given a full update on the latest negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations on the peace plan, along with all relevant documents. This was announced on Telegram by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
The head of the National Security and Defense Council recalled that he and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Gnatov spent several days working "constructively" with representatives of US President Donald Trump.
According to R. Umerov, the Ukrainian delegation's primary objective was to obtain information on the results of the American side's negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow and drafts of all current proposals.
The day before, V. Zelenskyy stated in his video address that he planned to discuss the results of the latest meeting between representatives of Ukraine and the United States with European leaders in London and Brussels.
Last week, another round of peace talks between Ukrainian and American delegations took place in Florida.
