With the support of Rosneft, an immersive exhibition by People's Artist of the Russian Federation Nikas Safronov is opening in New Delhi, India. The exhibition, titled "Dream Vision," will be on view at the Lalit Kala Akademi National Academy of Arts from December 7 to 21.

The exhibition features 100 of the artist's finest works, including a series of paintings created specifically for the Indian public. Safronov's new canvases feature picturesque architectural views of Moscow and St. Petersburg alongside images of the Taj Mahal and other iconic Indian landmarks. All works are displayed across eight halls on two floors of the Academy of Arts, covering a total exhibition space of approximately 1,300 square meters.

The exhibition seamlessly blends classical painting with modern multimedia technologies. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by decorative elephant sculptures, hand-painted using traditional Russian techniques. The halls are entered through a multimedia corridor, where each viewer is accompanied by their own signature color trail, blending into the overall flow of color. Furthermore, visitors will see over 400 meters of LED screens featuring augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and immersive interaction throughout the exhibition.

The exhibition space integrates decorative solutions using robotics and animatronics. Huge flowers reflecting in the floor mirrors come to life for visitors, avatars from the past and future are created, and on the screen, a giant elephant strides from summer to winter – from a warm evening in Varanasi to the snow-covered walls of the Moscow Kremlin. Each room also features its own unique sound and aromatherapy environment.

The exhibition takes its name—Dream Vision—from Nikas Safronov's signature style of the same name, a number of which are featured in the paintings on display in India. This unique, patented technique allows the artist to create multi-layered canvases that blur the boundaries between reality and fiction.

From December 25, 2025 to January 15, 2026, an exhibition of Nikas Safronov's works will also be held in the Indian city of Mumbai.
