A new venue for the "Art in the Metro" project has opened at Polyanka station. It's the first on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya Line.
"The 'Art in the Metro' project continues to expand; today we opened our 11th location. This event was celebrated with an on-site session, during which artists painted station interiors and a ceramic sculpture, 'Young Family.' We are confident that this new location will attract more artists willing to develop and showcase their talents. At the direction of Sergei Sobyanin, Moscow's transport system is actively involved in supporting the city's cultural life," said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
On the opening day, five craftsmen came to meet passengers.
Anzhelika Ermak has been participating in the "Art in the Metro" project since June 2024. She paints in oils, draws with dry and oil pastels, and works in mixed media using markers and pencils.
Oksana Borisova joined the project at the same time. She uses a variety of painting and graphic media, including oil paints, tempera, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, markers, colored pencils, and liners. Her main styles are realism and impressionism.
