BEIJING, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) — A press tour of Chinese and Mongolian online media outlets across Guangdong Province (southern China) and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (north China) kicked off in Guangzhou, capital of southern China's Guangdong Province, the Neimenggu Ribao daily reported Wednesday.

The press tour, which runs until December 8, is being organized by the Press Office of the People's Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Republic and the Mongolian Journalists' Union. More than 30 media representatives from both countries are participating, including 10 leading Mongolian websites.

During the press tour, participants will visit the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Life and Health Industry Innovation Zone and a number of Guangdong Province companies operating in science and technology, automobile manufacturing, and other fields, as well as the International Hospital of Mongolian Medicine, the Ereenhot border crossing point, and several Inner Mongolia enterprises.

The press tour participants will report on topics such as scientific and technological innovation, artificial intelligence, biopharmaceuticals, the protection, inheritance, and dissemination of traditional culture, energy, the dairy industry, and the improvement of checkpoint infrastructure. They intend to actively introduce the Mongolian people to China's achievements in high-level opening-up and high-quality development in the new era, and promote expanded cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
