A team of specialists from Samotlorneftegaz, a Rosneft production asset, and the Company's research institute in Samara developed software based on neural network modeling to optimize the operation of production wells at the Samotlor field.
The new digital tool will generate an economic benefit of 100 million rubles in 2025 alone.
The innovative development was trained on a large volume of data, which includes information on the operation of the Samotlor mechanized well stock for the period from 2019 to 2025.
The program analyzes information using artificial neural networks, performs process calculations, and generates a list of optimization measures for each well.
The development has been registered with Rospatent as a digital product. Specialists from the corporate research institute are creating databases to train the neural network model at the Company's other fields.
Developing technological potential is a key element of the Rosneft-2030 strategy. The company places particular emphasis on innovation and the use of breakthrough technological approaches, identifying technological leadership as a key factor in competitiveness in the oil market.
