The world's first Geosteering School, designed to train highly qualified specialists in drilling support, has trained its 1,000th specialist.

Today, the School's program includes 12 educational courses covering all processes of geological support for well drilling. Training is conducted by 20 highly qualified trainers.

Around 200 Rosneft employees complete training at the School annually. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect student feedback. All examples and assignments are based on practical, real-world problems. Students note that the instructors cover innovative topics not covered even at the country's leading universities.

Particular attention is paid to studying all the functions of the RN-Horizon corporate software – a specialized program for geological support of well and sidetrack drilling.

The high quality of the school's training is confirmed by professional achievements. Graduates regularly win and rank among Russian and international geosteering competitions.

The ongoing operation of the Geosteering School is part of the Company's strategy to train highly qualified personnel to ensure technological leadership.
