Moscow, December 2 (Xinhua) — Russian troops have established control over Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name: Pokrovsk — Xinhua note) in the Donbas and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on Monday by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, on the evening of November 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited one of the command posts of the joint group of forces and heard reports from Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, as well as the commanders of the Center and East groups.
During his trip, Vladimir Putin noted that along the entire line of combat contact, the initiative “is entirely in the hands of the Russian Armed Forces.” –0–
