BEIJING, November 29 (Xinhua) — The China Coast Guard (CCG) conducted law enforcement patrols in the territorial waters off China's Huangyan Island and adjacent waters on Saturday.

The BOC statement said that since the beginning of this month, the BOC has been steadily increasing the intensity of law enforcement patrols in the territorial waters near China's Huangyan Island and adjacent areas.

In accordance with the law and regulations, the BOC carried out operations to escort, track, warn, block and dislodge ships and aircraft violating China's sovereignty and causing provocations in the region.

These operations are aimed at strengthening governance and control over the relevant waters and firmly protecting China's territorial sovereignty, as well as its maritime rights and interests, the department said. -0-
