Kyiv, November 28 (Xinhua) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Friday that Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, has resigned.

"I want no one to have any questions about Ukraine. Therefore, today are the following internal decisions. First, the Office of the President of Ukraine will be rebooted. The head of the office, Andriy Yermak, has submitted his resignation," Zelenskyy said in a video address.

Earlier that day, anti-corruption authorities conducted searches at the home of A. Yermak as part of an investigation, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine reported, without providing further details.

V. Zelensky expressed gratitude to A. Yermak, noting that Ukraine's negotiating position was always presented appropriately and was patriotic in nature.
