Products from the Berdyansk Meat Processing Plant have appeared at interregional fairs in various districts of Moscow. Founded in 1967 and reconstructed to meet modern standards, the plant is now one of the leading meat processing plants in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Thanks to the unique conditions for securing space at interregional fairs, the plant's products have become available to Moscow buyers. Sergey, a fair participant who brings products from Berdyansk for sale, notes that the lack of rent at the Moscow fairs was a significant reason for the products' arrival in Moscow.
"This kind of city support—free retail space and equipment, the ability to store products at the point of sale under appropriate conditions—is very significant for regional producers," noted a fair participant.
Cooked, dry-cured, semi-smoked, cooked-smoked, and dry-cured sausages, as well as frankfurters, sausages, and delicacies made from poultry and pork from the Berdyansk Meat Processing Plant, are on display at fairs in the Altufevsky, Babushkinsky, Orekhovo-Borisovo Severnoye, and Yuzhnoye Medvedkovo districts.
This manufacturer's sausages and other products have long been popular among locals. The high quality of its meat products was confirmed by gold medals for "Best Product of the Year" at the Prodexpo 2025 exhibition.
The meat processing plant is particularly proud of its unique "Poly-Fal" technology: a special casing that preserves the flavor and freshness of natural products for up to 60 days. Furthermore, the plant is constantly implementing modern technologies, and comprehensive quality control is implemented throughout production. A modern, certified veterinary laboratory is equipped to ensure the meticulous selection of raw materials.
Moscow fairs are a traditional destination for city residents to purchase high-quality, fresh farm produce from over 40 regions of Russia. Each supplier guarantees the quality and freshness of their products, and specialists State Veterinary Service of the City of Moscow check products before they hit the shelves. Last summer alone, weekend fairs and interregional venues were visited four million people, almost 5.5 thousand tons of products were purchased.
Fair participants are provided with free space. Fair pavilions are located near metro stations and other busy locations and are equipped with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and video surveillance systems, as well as commercial and refrigeration equipment, making them comfortable to visit.
