MANILA, November 26 (Xinhua) — Eleven people were killed and three others were injured, including seriously, when a 10-wheeler truck collided with a passenger van on a highway in the Philippine province of Albay, southeast of Manila, on Wednesday morning, local police said.

According to law enforcement officials, the accident occurred around 9:00 a.m. local time on a highway in the municipality of Camalig.

Video footage of the incident shows a truck traveling at high speed before slamming into a minibus traveling in the opposite direction. There were 14 people inside the minibus.

Among the injured were the truck driver and his assistant. –0–
