Hanoi, November 22 (Xinhua) — The death toll from severe flooding in central Vietnam has risen to 72 as of Saturday, local daily VnExpress reported, citing the country's Department of Dam Management and Disaster Prevention.

According to the report, 13 people are still missing.

Vietnam's Ministry of Construction said in its latest report that 33 passenger trains were forced to stop operating, while many other trains were suspended on sections of the rail network.
