Washington, November 22 (Xinhua) — US President Donald Trump on Friday set November 27 as the deadline for the adoption of a 28-point peace plan developed by the US to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
"I've had a lot of deadlines, but if things move, deadlines can be moved," Trump said in an interview with Fox News. "But we think Thursday is a good time."
Ukraine was losing territory and “will lose it soon,” he noted.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday, after a phone call with US Vice President J.D. Vance, that Ukraine "agreed to work with the US and Europe at the level of national security advisers to make the path to peace truly workable."
"Now Ukraine may face a very difficult choice. Either the loss of dignity, or the risk of losing a key partner. Either the difficult 28 points, or an extremely difficult winter," Zelenskyy said in an address to Ukrainians.
