This Friday is doubly wonderful than any other, because today marks the birthday of Nikolai Mikhailov, Advisor to the Rector's Office of the State University of Management, Associate Professor, and PhD in Geographical Sciences.
There's probably not a single person on our university floor who doesn't know Nikolai Nikolaevich: his smile encourages applicants, his penetrating gaze inspires a desire to learn, and his ironclad character keeps all the admissions staff and faculty of the Ecology and Nature Management program on their toes.
Nikolai Mikhailov, a true member of the Russian Geographical Society, has traveled throughout the country, from the southern seas to the Arctic Circle, and understands the unique characteristics of different regions like no one else.
On this day, we wish him many more years to maintain his youthful spirit, positive attitude, and cheerfulness, so that he can continue to make our university even better and more effective.
